CHINASOFT 2008 will be Co-organized by Chengdu City and Computerworld |

For the purpose of brand-building of CHINASOFT, Chengdu Municipal People's Government will cooperate with Computerworld in full scale for the preparation of CHINASOFT 2008. The Executive Committee of CHINASOFT 2008 has signed the agreement of cooperation with the Group recently.
China Computerworld has completed the general plan and design of CHINASOFT 2008 and got approved by the Chengdu Municipal Government. Based on this plan, CHINASOFT 2008 will further highlight high-class, high-standard, internationalization and specialization and take “ Innovation & Restructuring Thoughts & Choices of Software Industry under Cyberization and Informatization ” as the theme. During the event, China International Software Summit 2008, China Software Application and Service Forum 2008, Senior Consultant Round Table for Chengdu ' s Software Industry Development 2008, China Software and Service Industry Investment Forum 2008, China Software Development and Design Contest 2008, Software Matchmaking Meeting between Chinese and Foreign Companies 2008 and China IT Golf Championship 2008 etc.
China Computerworld will invite approximately 80 presidents from domestically and internationally famous software companies and approximately 30 famous investors to attend the event and will undertake the organization of a string of activities e.g. China International Software Summit, China Software Application and Service Forum, China Software and Service Industry Investment Forum, China Software Development and Design Contest, China IT Golf Championship. These activities will deepen the implications and characteristics of CHINASOFT 2008 in the aspects of application, strategy, investment and financing. China Computerworld will release the report on development capacities of Chinese software companies for the first time during the event and hold awarding activities for the development capacities of software.
China Computerworld has established a preparation group led by Chen Mei, president of the Group, to start the preparation work and will go for publicity and with coverage in the media under the Group from the beginning of March.

The group ranks the first in IT sector and science and technology presses in China . Chengdu City began to cooperate with the Group for CHINASOFT in full scale since 2007.
